Love technology and design? Our clients in Austin (and surrounding areas) are looking for a Web/Interactive designer to conceptualize and create graphic and user interface solutions for the Internet, intranets, extranets, portals, and applications under the direction of the Creative Director. This is the place to put your expertise to use.
The day-to-day responsibilities:
- Create and present effective design/graphic solutions
- Follow a design brief and brand identity standards
- Excellent layout and typography skills
- Contribute to the navigational and instructional design of Web sites
- Prepare and optimize graphics for use
- HTML editing
Skills you’ll need to accomplish goals:
- Proficient in Macromedia FreeHand, Photoshop, and possible illustration/animation
- Possess HTML, JavaScript, CSSP, Flash, or other relevant technology skills
- Excellent understanding of user interface fundamentals
- Understanding of design for content management systems
The bare minimum:
- Design degree or diploma preferred
- Knowledge of design trends
- Proven commercial experience in an interactive design role
